In May of last year I bought a 76 honda 750 sohc from a guy in Marinette WI. I was learnign how to do stuff on E-bay and it backfired. Or did it? I have never been so happy with such an expensive mistake! since this last winter of 08 I have been upgrading and chopping it up and loving every minute of it.
I used to work for an audio vendor out of Ottawa Kansas doing hippie and country music festiavals, travelling around the U.S. setting up stages, working the sound boards and tearing them down and driving the trucks back. It was alot of fun but they didnt pay me near enough. But thats neither here nor there.
I'm naming my first Bike build Daigoro beacause in Japanese it means powerful prince, but that is not the only reason. I watched an old japanese kung fu flick called Lone wolf and cub. It was about a ronin samuri executioner. In the first part of the movie his clan gets turned over ( he gets fired ) he decides his wife will not suffer the shame and he kills her. then he turns to his two year old son Daigoro, and he puts one of his toys on one side of him, on the other he puts his own sword. and he says "Daigoro! I cannot kill you. You are too young, so I will let you choose. Choose the sword and you will come with me, but you will let evil into your heart. Choose your toy and peace will come to you, and you will join your mother." And he chooses the sword, and the rest of the movie is this ronin pushing around a baby cart killing everyone, and the little one helps its awesome. So that is why I am naming my bike Daigoro, because Its new, I'm new. I just thought it would fit.
